SIMON!

Okay, maybe I can get carried away with tropical system names but come on.... Simon? How cool of a name is that for a tropical system! Anyway, Simon is out in the pacific ocean about to move inland Wednesday Morning. Here's the latest advisory and track from the National Hurricane Center:

As with Odile a few weeks ago, Simon could have an impact on the weather in Oklahoma later this week. Now, Odile didn't impress us as it ended up stalling and gave us very little rain. My hope is that Simon does differently, cause we need any drop we can get! Tulsa is currently down 10.6" of rain for this year. Here's the latest precipitation projections from the Weather Prediction Center:

Again, as with Odile, these amounts will change. So check back for updated graphics! Let's hope Simon says "I'm coming to Oklahoma!"
